Meridian sweeps Beaverton
BEAVERTON - Kenzie Hall was fabulous throughout the duration of the evening with her keen awareness, setting and serving. Her older sister, Sadie Hall was electrifying with her devastating swings. Bri Yaroch and Alyssa VanNortwick made strong impacts and it was apparent that Beaverton misses Morgan Oldani more than we had anticipated as the Beaverettes were severely overwhelmed along the net. Meridian swept Beaverton: 25-17, 25-21 and 25-16.
Kenzie Hall cranked an ace to put Meridian ahead 1-0. Beaverton’s Laura Fassett has a penchant for timing her vertical jumps to make like a wall to reject, alter or deflect shots. Fassett blocked a Meridian attack for a BHS score, to knot it up at 1-1.
