Since last summer, Meridian’s ultra-competitive Jamie Smith combed over Michigan’s softball schedule and set her team up with pre-JPC guantlet as a litmus test for their lofty goals. Coach Smith laid down a smorgasbord of elite competition and offered up her team a buffet-style crash-course on dog-eat-dog top level softball war games.

Children go through many stages in life, from learning to walk and talk, to taking that first bike ride without training wheels. Along the way, there are mistakes that are made during the process, such as running into Dad’s car with the bike or finding out how to climb open drawers to get to the cookie jar. Parents have to learn along with their children how to guide them to making good decisions and making their child a well behaved young man or lady. .
There are always bumps in the road however, and those are what makes a family bond strong, is the ability to get past those hurdles. It is human nature to make mistakes and have accidents along the way.
