Since last summer, Meridian’s ultra-competitive Jamie Smith combed over Michigan’s softball schedule and set her team up with pre-JPC guantlet as a litmus test for their lofty goals. Coach Smith laid down a smorgasbord of elite competition and offered up her team a buffet-style crash-course on dog-eat-dog top level softball war games.

Stacy Woodbury is a teacher at Gladwin High School, where she graduated from as a child. She teaches business classes, and is also the Special Needs Teacher. She helped the golf team last year, and enjoys the sport immensely.
When we contacted her, she was more than willing to share the experience and knowledge she gained from her cancer struggles.
When the word cancer is mentioned, it brings about feelings of helplessness and despair.
